In September 1997, the first reading room of KMIT (presently known as NQU) was established. In order to provide a more comfortable environment for our readers, the reading room was moved to the second floor of the Teaching Complex Building. The library was officially opened in 2008. The Library is a five-story building, which covers a total of 7,901 square meters with 456 seats. The Wi-Fi network is available throughout the whole building.
As of 2018, the Library has collected 162,429 volumes of books in Chinese, 25,520 volumes in foreign languages, 95,982 E-book copies and 1,209 entries of other publications.

Organization
-Director
Responsible for personnel management, archives maintenance, advisory and coordinative affairs.

-Acquisition and Cataloging Division
Responsible for material acquisitions, budget control, cataloging and maintenance of the bibliographic database.

-Reference and Information Services Section
Responsible for books circulation, reference services, interlibrary loan services, library tours and instructions, information literacy, outreach services, and e-learning courses planning.

"Off-campus Internet Connection" allows our users (NQU faculty, staffs and students) to access our databases at home (off-campus) by inputting their account number and password.

Notices on Graduation / Dissertation

Graduates who have left the school are required to check their borrowing conditions. In addition, graduates need to upload their electronic theses or dissertations to the National Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations in Taiwan (NDLTD IN TAIWAN) and hand in a hard copy and authorization (NQU and National Central Library). 
Graduation Procedures
• Return the borrowed materials and pay late fees.
• For patrons who applied for Interlibrary Loan Service, please make sure the borrowed materials have been
  returned, all fees have been paid and applied copies have been collected.
