The Department of Applied English aims to provide students of diverse needs with courses taught by experienced instructors with doctoral degrees. The Department consists of a bachelor’s and a master’s degree programs. Our professional training improves students’ listening speaking, reading, writing, translation and interpretation skills. The curriculum also includes internship courses that prepare students for their future careers. The Department equips with English standardized examination rooms for students to take the English standardized tests with convenience. With the trend of globalization, we also take part in international exchange programs. The master’s program emphasizes on TESOL theories and techniques for in-service ESL/EFL teachers to optimize their teaching.
