E-resources Remote Access
This service is only provided to current students, staffs and teachers. You can use our databases at home
(off-campus) through remote access with entering your computer center account and password.
Recent postgraduates who leave the school are required to settle their borrowing situation and must upload their electronic theses to the National Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations in Taiwan（NDLTD IN TAIWAN）. And hand in theses（1 hardcover,2paperbacks）and authorization (NQU and National Central Library) to apply for graduation procedures.
⓪ Please return all borrowed materials and pay the late fees.
⓪ For patrons who applied for Inter-library Loan Service, please make sure the borrowed materials have been
returned, all fees have been paid, and applied copies have been collected.

Nationwide Document Delivery Services（NDDS）
The NQU faculties and students may apply for inter-library photocopying or loan service from local libraries.
Please submit the application online via Nationwide Document Delivery Service (NDDS).

Library Photocopying Service
Price and sales location:
1. Location：circulation services desk.
2. Price：card value of NT$110. Available to individuals inside or outside of the university.
3. Copying quantity：the copying card can copy 100 pages.
Reminder: Please comply with the intellectual property right regulations when copying books, periodicals or dissertations.
Individual Research Room
The library maintains 10 individual research rooms on the 4th floor to be used for independent study.
Patrons may reserve an individual research room up to 30 days. The patrons have to use individual research room at least 1 day within a week, or the library has the right to cancel the reservation.
Patrons may reserve rooms at the Circulation Service Desk on the 2nd floor.
Group Discussion Room
All instructors and students may use the 3th floor Group Discussion Room for collaborative study endeavors.
Groups must consist of at least five people.
Use of the room is limited to four hours per session.
Patrons are required to make a reservation at the Circulation Service Desk on the 2nd floor.
In 1997, Kinmen Institute of Technology （KMIT） had no library materials and an actual library building. A Reading Room was established in September, 1997. With increasing library materials, KMIT decided to construct a new library building to provide better library services.
The National Quemoy University （NQU）Library inaugurated in September, 2008. Measuring 7,901 square meters, it is a five-floor building, with 456 reading seats and wireless internet access.
As of 2013, the Library's collection includes:
Books in Chinese: 124,894volumes; in Western languages:16,825volumes.
Non-book materials: 1,061 items.
Periodicals in Chinese: 341titles; in Western languages: 20 titles; e-journals: 22,918 titles.
Newspapers in Chinese: 8 titles; in Western languages: 2 titles.
Databases in Chinese: 4titles; in Western languages: 12 titles.
